There is a specific kind of person who is impossible to shop for. Not difficult - impossible. They have the gadget. They replaced the watch. If they wanted it, it arrived last Tuesday.
The mistake is to keep searching the same catalogue they already shop from. The only category left is the one that has to be made.
Why "unbuyable" is the whole point
A custom bobblehead cannot be bought off a shelf, because it does not exist until somebody sends us photographs of a specific person. That is what makes it work as a gift for someone with everything: there is no version of it they could have acquired on their own without knowing you were doing it.
It rewards knowing them, not outspending them
The details are what land - the jacket they always wear, the dog, the golf swing, the coffee cup they will not replace. Every one of those is free to include and impossible to fake. A gift built from observations reads completely differently from an expensive one picked in a hurry.
It survives the thank-you note
Most gifts are consumed, worn out or quietly rehomed. A sculpted figure of somebody sits on a desk or a shelf for years, and it keeps doing its job every time a visitor picks it up and asks about it.
What to send us
Two or three clear photos of the face, one full-length shot for the outfit, and a short note about the details that matter. That is genuinely all we need to produce a free digital mockup.
- Clear, well-lit photos - straight on and from each side
- A reference for the clothing and the pose
- Props, colours and anything they are known for
- An optional inscription for the base
Leave time
Production runs about four to six weeks from an approved mockup. For a birthday or Christmas that means starting roughly two months out - and since the mockup is free and comes before payment, there is no cost to starting early and deciding later.
